“‘No’ is a freedom word, and man is the only part of creation that can use it. It sets us free from impulse & temptation.”
What a needed and necessary word. The concept of saying it seems simple enough but putting it into practice… there’s the crux of the biscuit. The subtlety with which we are approached to not say “no” is amazingly relentless, artful and persuasive.
